GTA 5 PC Cheat Codes

PC players can type cheat words using the game’s cheat console.

Here are some of the most useful commands:

Can You Use GTA 5 Cheats in GTA Online?

No. GTA 5 cheat codes are designed for Story Mode and do not function as normal cheats in GTA Online.

GTA Online has its own progression system, economy and multiplayer environment.

Players should also avoid unofficial GTA Online cheat tools, mod menus or unauthorized software. Using third-party tools can put an account at risk of penalties.

Do GTA 5 Cheats Disable Trophies and Achievements?

Yes, using cheats can affect trophy and achievement progress during the current gameplay session.

If you’re trying to complete missions, earn trophies or achievements, it’s a good idea to avoid activating cheats and reload a clean save when necessary.

Cheats are best used when you’re simply experimenting or having fun in Story Mode.

Can You Save GTA 5 After Using Cheats?

You can save your game after using cheats, but cheat activation can affect certain gameplay progression and achievement/trophy conditions.

For that reason, many players keep a separate save specifically for experimenting with cheats.

Are GTA 5 Cheats Permanent?

Most GTA 5 cheats are temporary.

For example, the invincibility cheat lasts for a limited period, while some effects can be deactivated by entering the same cheat again or by restarting/reloading the game.

Some world effects also disappear after restarting the game.

What Is the Best GTA 5 Cheat?

Different cheats are useful for different situations.

If you’re experimenting in Los Santos, some of the most entertaining choices include:

• Invincibility for surviving huge fights
• Weapons for instant access to an arsenal
• Explosive bullets for chaotic shootouts
• Super jump for unusual exploration
• Moon gravity for vehicle jumps
• Buzzard spawn for quickly getting an armed helicopter
• Slow motion for cinematic gameplay
• Slidey cars for ridiculous driving

Rather than completing missions normally, cheats are especially useful when you simply want to experiment with GTA 5’s open world.

Final Thoughts

GTA 5 cheats are a great way to experiment with Los Santos after you’ve finished missions or simply want to create some chaos.

From invincibility and weapons to explosive bullets, super jumps, helicopters, sports cars, slow motion and weather changes, there are plenty of options to try.

The easiest method depends on your platform. PC players can use keyboard cheat commands, while console players can enter controller combinations or use the in-game phone.

Remember that these cheats are intended for GTA 5 Story Mode, not GTA Online. If you’re working toward trophies, achievements or normal progression, keep a clean save before experimenting.
